Q: What type of data is available in Prospector?
A: Prospector draws from Agile’s comprehensive database of close to 350,000 institutions and more than 6 million education professionals. It contains institutions and personnel information for public and private PreK-12 schools, as well as for higher education institutions, early childhood centers and public libraries.
Q: How do I know that the data is high quality?
A: Agile Education Marketing utilizes proven methodologies to compile and manage a comprehensive database of education institutions and personnel. Agile’s database changes every week with the results of the updates, so there are always new records being added and outdated records being removed. Q: Can I use this data to send marketing emails to prospects that have not heard from me before?
A: Agile Education Marketing compiles its data in full compliance with CAN-SPAM requirements, and provides that data to its customers to use for direct marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, business processes, etc. Agile encourages you to fully understand your responsibilities when it comes to creating CAN-SPAM compliant emails and deploying prospect marketing emails through your systems.
Q: Am I allowed to load Prospector lists to my CRM or Marketing Automation system?
A: The Agile Prospector Terms & Conditions allow for lists generated by the system to be loaded into your CRM or Marketing Automation systems, as well as other internal systems used to manage your business. Use of the Agile data may be restricted by the Terms & Conditions of your CRM and/or Marketing Automations systems, so we recommend you review those contracts before using Agile data in outbound marketing campaigns.
Q: Once I download a list, do I own it?
A: The list is licensed to your company for perpetual use in your own marketing and sales efforts to educators. You may not sell or otherwise distribute the list to any other party, and the list is nontransferable.

Q: How much does it cost to use Prospector?
A: Email pricing is $195/thousand records downloaded if the count is less than 10,000 records, and $155/thousand records downloaded if the count is equal to or above 10,000 records.
Direct mail and telemarketing pricing is $65/thousand records downloaded if the count is less than 10,000 records, and $50/thousand records downloaded if the count is equal to or above 10,000 records.
Please note: A $10 minimum fee will be assessed on all lists under $10.
As a registered user, you can receive updates to your list at no additional charge for 60 days from the date of purchase. After 60 days, you may pay to download any records that were added since the last time you downloaded the list. Updates are available for a list up to one (1) year from the purchase date.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: All major credit and debit cards.
If your billing address does not originate from the US or Canada, we will invoice you directly via email, and once payment is processed, you will be notified and able to download your list from within Prospector.
Q: What does my list contain?
A: The list will contain the institution name, mailing address, personnel name, title, building phone number, direct phone number and email address (if an email list).

Q: How do I get my list?
A: Once you have paid for your list, you have the option to download it as either a comma-separated .txt file or an Excel spreadsheet. You will also have the option to redownload any list in full for 60 days from when it was originally downloaded as long as you are a registered user. The list can be accessed from the Saved Lists link.
To receive any new added records select Get Updates. This will provide you with the new records since the first time you downloaded the list, or if you have obtained other updates, since the last time you updated. Once you have downloaded an update, the full list or any previous updates will not available for redownload.
Q: How do I get updates to my list?
A: By clicking on the Saved Lists option on the top menu, you will have an option to add all new records since you last created or updated the list. You must be a registered user to receive updates to a downloaded list. Once you have downloaded an update, the full list or any previous updates will not be available for redownload. Updates for a list are available up to one (1) calendar year from date of purchase. After 1 year, the list will become available for re-purchase.
Q: Why should I register?
A: Registering allows you to view and work with the lists you’ve previously built. Within 60 days of purchase, you receive updates to your list at no additional charge. After that, you can update your list and pay only for those records that have been added from the initial purchase date. Without registering and downloading updates, over time the quality of your list will gradually degrade and the delivery rate to your prospects will decline.
